my goal for this week are to finish my character sketches to compile every thing from my previous goals and this goal to create my first page of my comic.

weekly goals 10/21/08

1.create a character sheet for the main characters
2.start to set up a story line
3. figure out the setup for the comic
page
4.create the starting point for the story(or the place where the story starts)

my back words plan

-gain more knowledge on making digital comics

-get a character sheet done

-write a basic story line

-get a story board done

-scan my work online see what others think about the characters and the storyline

-figure out the comic outlines for the first few pages

-learn how to color and shade the characters and backgrounds with photoshop

-get a layout of where this story takes place

-after getting a draft done try to get another digital comic artist to comment on my work and give advice

-try and find a site that will allow me to post my digital comic up if its good enough

new project

hello i am kimani a senior in highschool who is aiming to go to a college for an animation major though i was in this class junior year and tried to do a flash animation but i decided to change what i was going to make my base project this year on making a digital comic to help me learn how to use photoshop and strenghen my skills with it. I also am going to work on a flash as a side project to see how its going to turn out.

this blog is set up for my flash practice and im hoping to come up with a completed project that should be a flash type music video im not sure what it should be about though
